about

Think Bondi Beach circa 1999. It's a beautiful Saturday sunny morning, and it's not too hot yet. Bare feet and no shirt, the whole beach is a giant smile. You're strong, clear and better than you usually are. Sweet tunes roll through your head (the world is turned-down and peaceful in that moment) and you even get to crawl back in bed with someone you love before breakfast...

lyrics

Morning sun’s got me coming to
I’m out the door w ithout my shoes
While you’re still asleep
I’m down to the paper stand
The world is spinning out of hand
What can I do?
Go back home, crawl in bed with you

Waiting so long,
Rather build than rent another vacant home
But this party’s on

And I’m standing off as you dance for all your worth
The world on your shoulders rolls off and it occurs
Days will pass by despite of these walls
If you never try to jump, you’ll never learn to fall

You know, you never told me ‘bout the skin you shed
And it’s a long way back when I’m not some book you’ve read
But this foolish talkin’ I do when I just want to be inside you
What can I do?
Go back home crawl in bed with you

I’m fading back in with the flowers by the walls
Up in the highest tower of them all
This time is ours

And you pull me out of the dark I’ve endured
The world on my shoulders rolls off and it occurs
Days will pass by despite of these walls
And if you teach me how to jump, I’ll show you how to fall

Days will pass by despite of us all,
Teach me how to jump and I’ll show you how to fall
